【Pharmacological action】

Pharmacodynamics Taymycin is an antibiotic of pleurotin class, which has bactericidal effect on sensitive bacteria at high concentration. Inhibit bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S subunit of the ribosome.

Taymycin has good antibacterial activity against mycoplasma and Treponema dysenteriae. It also has good antibacterial activity against most gram-positive bacteria including staphylococcus and streptococcus (except group D streptococcus). It has a certain effect on actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and weak antibacterial activity against most gram-negative bacteria.

Combined with aureomycin at 1:4, this product can treat swine bacterial enteritis, bacterial pneumonia and treponemal swine dysentery, and has significant effect on pneumonia caused by mycoplasma pneumonia, bordetella bronchosepticus and Pasteurella multocida.

pharmacokinetics

The drug was well absorbed by internal administration in pigs. The bioavailability was about 85% after single dose administration, and the peak blood concentration was reached 2~4 hours. Drugs entering the body are widely distributed, with the highest concentration in lung tissue. Tymycin is widely metabolized in the body, producing more than 20 metabolites, some of which have antibacterial activity. Tymycin metabolites are excreted mainly from the stool via bile, and about 30% are excreted from the urine.

【Drug interaction】

(1) With monensin, salomycin, methylsalomycin and other polyether antibiotics used together, can affect the metabolism of the above polyether antibiotics, causing slow growth, movement disorders, paralysis, and even death of chickens.

(2) Combined with other antibiotics that can bind to the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosomes (such as macrolide antibiotics, lincomycin), due to competition for the same action site, may lead to reduced efficacy.

【Function and use】

Truncated pleurotins antibiotics. It is mainly used for the prevention and treatment of chronic respiratory diseases of chicken, mycoplasma pneumonia, actinobacillus pleuropneumonia, and also for swine dysentery and proliferative enteritis caused by treponema.

【Usage and dosage】

Calculated with this product. Mixed drinking: 0.1g ~ 0.13g per 1L of water for 5 days; Chicken 0.28g ~ 0.56g for 3 days.

【Adverse reaction】

  Pigs sometimes have skin erythema when used at the recommended dosage. Excessive application can cause transient salivation, vomiting and central nervous system inhibition in pigs.

【Cautions】

(1) It is forbidden to use with polyether antibiotics such as monensin, salomycin, methylsalomycin, etc.

(2) The user should avoid contact with eyes and skin.
